What GoDaddy says will renew
GoDaddy’s registration agreement says a domain normally renews at the current non-sale list price unless a different renewal price is specifically identified. It also says the renewal price may change before the renewal date. Automatic renewal uses the original registration term by default, and a domain renewal is non-refundable. Related services can carry their own renewal charges.

- Open your GoDaddy renewal screen and identify the exact product and extension. A domain, hosting plan, email plan and protection add-on are separate products.
- Compare the amount in your account or cart with the current non-sale renewal price for that extension. Do not substitute a first-year registration price.
- If GoDaddy sent a renewal discount directly to your account or email, check its eligibility and expiry there. A third-party code is not established until the cart accepts it.
- If considering Discount Domain Club, include the membership charge and the number and type of domains you will renew. The lower member rate alone is not a total-cost comparison.
- Confirm the final renewal term, tax, ICANN fee where applicable, add-ons and total before payment.
