Cloudways coupon archive: what Cloudways’ own pages printed, 2018 to 2022

Short answer: Cloudways’ own pages printed BFCM18 with 30% off for 3 months in 2018, BFCM40 with 40% off for 3 months and a December 4, 2019 deadline in 2019, BFCM2021 with 40% off for 4 months plus an advertised $10 hosting credit in 2021, and BFCM4030 with 40% off for 4 months plus up to 30 free migrations in 2022. Every row in the table below comes from a Cloudways-owned page and names the snapshot it was read from.

These are archived records of what the pages said, not current offers, and this page does not judge whether any code works today. For the present state of the official promo page, read the Cloudways coupon guide.

For 2020 this archive has no offer text: the only saved response for that year’s article is a security-check page. That is a gap in the record, not evidence that Cloudways ran no offer. Anyone stating what the 2020 offer was is stating something these saved responses do not contain.

Questions 6, 7 and 8 cannot be answered from a rendered page view. They need the saved HTML, or several snapshots read side by side, and they are set out below.

What only the saved HTML shows

The coupon counter is a template placeholder, not a stock figure

The December 2022 saved response contains Promo Code 0000 300 Total Coupons in its markup. The 0000 is an unfilled placeholder, and the rendered page shows only “300 Total Coupons”. Because the placeholder exists only in the source, any description written from looking at the page repeats the same reading. Those values do not establish how many coupons remained redeemable, and we do not treat the stored counter as a number of remaining coupons.

The countdown string is identical across thirteen months

30 Days 18 Hours 54 Mins 09 Secs appears word for word in the 2021-11-29, 2022-08-10 and 2022-12-03 responses. Read one response and it looks live. Only when the three are compared character by character does the block turn out not to have moved across the archive period. The same responses also retain the date-picker defaults Oct 27, 2021 00:00:01 and Nov 29, 2021 18:59:59, still present in the 2022 pages. This establishes what the stored responses contain; it does not tell us how JavaScript behaved in a visitor’s browser or how much time an offer had left.

The FAQ and the terms on one page disagree

In the 2022-12-03 response, a FAQ says the offer applies to users who sign up and upgrade from trial to a full account, while the terms say it is “only valid for new customers”. Both sentences sit in the same file. Third-party write-ups quote one or the other; they do not put the two side by side. We report both statements because the source contradicts itself, and neither statement proves that an existing paid account qualified.

Some codes with “cloudways” in the name belong to other companies

In Cloudways’ own 2018 roundup, CloudWaysFriday (Visual Modo), Cloudways@StoreYa (Coupon Pop), Cloudways (Mycred), CLOUDWAYS (Envira Gallery), CLOUDWAYS-20 (Cart2Cart), cloudways-BFCM (MexBS) and cloudwaysrender (Renderforest) are partner products’ codes, each sitting in its own entry of one long article. No page in the current results puts them beside Cloudways. In the same way, BFCM18 is reused by Inspectlet, Tyche Software and Profile Press, and BFCM40 by WPDeveloper (NotificationX) in the 2019 roundup. The code string alone does not carry Cloudways’ identity; the product and issuer beside it do.

The address printed on the old pages

The 2018 and 2019 footers print 52 Springvale, Pope Pius XII Street, Mosta MST2653, Malta. The 2021 and 2022 footers print Junction Business Centre, 1st Floor, Sqaq Lourdes, St Julians STJ3334, Malta. One page in the current results writes the address as Junction Business Centre, 1st Floor Sqaq Lourdes, St Julians, Mosta STJ 3334, Malta — the street and postcode from the later footer, the town from the earlier one. We record the two archived versions and that page’s version side by side and leave the reading to you.

How this archive was checked

These records come from saved Common Crawl responses of Cloudways-owned pages, not from today’s live pages. The dates in the table identify the snapshots. We rechecked the saved files on September 23, 2026; that was a local archive review, not a new checkout or live-offer test.

The comparison against current search results was made on September 21, 2026. Nine of the ten result pages opened; one Reddit result could not be read because of a network-security block, so it is recorded as unread and is not used as evidence of absence. Two codes did appear in that set: DevOpsCube already listed BFCM4030 and SUMMER306 as expired, and a further page listed SUMMER404. We do not claim those. What this page adds is the 2018 and 2019 rows, and the source-level findings above. The 2018 “new account” limit rests on a single source: it appears in one of the two Cloudways posts from that year, not both. This was a limited, dated comparison, not a claim that these findings are unique across the web.
