FOUR-YEAR CART · OCTOBER 8, 2026

DreamHost coupon code

Pay now: $95.52 for four years.
Launch hosting, prepaid. Taxes and paid extras are additional; $1.99/month is the advertised equivalent.

Published renewal: $383.52 every four years.
The page shows $7.99/month after the first term.

After three months: $19.99/year for the selected one mailbox. Hosting stays prepaid; this is the separate email trial converting to paid service.

Must you call to cancel? No phone step is listed: DreamHost documents an online account route. Its documents disagree on when hosting ends—check the effective date before confirming.

Searching for a DreamHost coupon, promo code or discount code? This guide covers one verified four-year Launch selection. The important comparison is the first payment, the next hosting term and the separate email bill. An existing customer's renewal notice can describe a different plan and price.

What does the four-year offer actually cost?

The official WordPress page called this the Launch plan; the resulting cart called it Web Hosting Launch. We selected four years, USD and one email mailbox. No domain was selected.

Auto-renews at $7.99 /mo after 4 years. $383.52 billed every 4 years.

Table paraphrases the official cart, read 2026-10-08T08:01:39.328Z (UTC). This session-dependent URL may require selecting the same options again.

Our arithmetic: 48 × $1.99 = $95.52; 48 × $7.99 = $383.52. Those totals also appeared on the official page and in the cart. No one-, two- or three-year quote is inferred from them. See the matching DreamHost four-year comparison evidence.

These are published prices at the reading time, not a guarantee of a bill four years from now. The terms describe automatic renewal at then-current nonpromotional rates for the original contract length unless canceled. Terms read 2026-10-08T08:01:39.510Z (UTC).

Is there a DreamHost coupon code to type?

The current official plan button carried promo=WH-BF2025 in its cart link. Following it produced the quote above without our typing a code. This is a parameter observed on the current page, not proof of a universally redeemable manual coupon. The digits in its name do not turn this current-page observation into an archived offer.

Official plan entry, read 2026-10-08T08:00:38.879Z (UTC); cart read 2026-10-08T08:01:39.328Z (UTC). No purchase or completed redemption.

Does it reduce an existing customer's renewal?

We did not verify a renewal coupon or apply this offer to an existing account. Check your own renewal notice and panel for the exact legacy product, next charge and date. A new-customer introductory quote does not establish your account's renewal price.

Email, domain privacy and other separate charges

The three-month email trial

The selected one-mailbox Professional Email trial renews at $19.99/year after three months. It is a separate cart item, not a rise in the prepaid hosting price. Other mailbox counts were not priced here. The terms say trials become paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends; verify the email subscription's own renewal setting and date in your panel.

The free first-year domain does not last four years

The plan page advertises a free domain for one year on eligible plans. We did not select or redeem one. The current official domain table lists standard .COM renewal at $21.99/year; this is a domain charge, separate from the $383.52 hosting renewal. Premium domains and a tax-inclusive domain checkout were not verified.

Private registration: the domain page describes free WHOIS privacy for the life of an eligible domain, not just the first year. Domain forwarding: its functionality is described, but we did not find a verified forwarding fee in the official pages read; the price remains unverified.

Official domain features, read 2026-10-08T08:04:16.247Z (UTC). The Launch page lists free SSL and daily automated backups; paid upgrades were not priced. Plan read 2026-10-08T08:00:38.879Z (UTC).

A .COM renewal can be charged before the expiry date

DreamHost's domain Auto-Renew instructions say a credit card is charged 31 days before expiration for applicable extensions, including .COM. They also say the Auto-Renew status cannot be changed within that 31-day renewal period. Domain renewals are nonrefundable. Check the domain setting separately from hosting cancellation.

Paraphrase of official domain Auto-Renew billing instructions, read 2026-10-08T08:05:54.492Z (UTC). This is a domain rule, not a 31-day hosting cancellation deadline.

How do you cancel, and when does the site stop?

You can cancel by accessing the Manage Account panel page.

Official Terms of Service, read 2026-10-08T08:01:39.510Z (UTC).

The account-closure guide describes an online Manage Account flow: back up your data, review the products and domains to retain, check balances, and confirm closure. No telephone step is listed. Closing an account and removing one hosting plan are different actions; review exactly which services the confirmation covers.

Instructions read 2026-10-08T08:03:56.730Z (UTC). We read the process; we did not cancel an account.

Official timing conflict: the general terms describe termination at the end of the current term. The shared-hosting deletion guide, updated October 6, says the shared plan ends immediately on cancellation, while another part describes a pending-cancellation state. It covers shared plans with another active service. We cannot establish which effective date a particular four-year account would show. Back up first and verify the date displayed in your account before confirming.

Terms read 2026-10-08T08:01:39.510Z (UTC); shared-plan instructions read 2026-10-08T08:04:50.311Z (UTC).

Cancellation is not automatically a full refund

The plan advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. The terms limit the Website Hosting guarantee to eligible credit-card or PayPal purchases and exclude items such as email, domains and SSL certificates. The refund guide distinguishes account credit from a refund; we did not establish a four-year renewal refund entitlement. Do not assume unused prepaid years will be refunded.

If you used the free-domain credit, the account-closure instructions describe a registration charge on closure, with an exception near domain expiry. That credit was not used in our cart.

What real customers report about renewal increases

Individual reports, not official price rules. In an April 25, 2026 r/dreamhost discussion about a reported 20% increase, customers described different renewal histories. One said their price had stayed unchanged for five years; the original poster said a renewal email listed the new price.

Mine stayed the same from 2005 through 2020. It went up $36.48/year in 2021, and has been the same from 2021 through 2025.

— PandasAndLlamas, comment dated April 29, 2026 UTC. This is a user's account history, not a DreamHost price table. We have not verified their receipts. The thread's 20% figure likewise describes the poster's situation; it is not a universal increase.

Forum support reply: a separate kind of evidence

DreamHostCare's reply identifies itself as DreamHost Support and says it sent a private message to investigate the support case and price-increase notice. That shows a public follow-up offer. It does not establish the outcome, a uniform rate increase or a website policy; we did not independently authenticate the account.

Thread and visible comments read 2026-10-08T08:02:15.952Z (UTC). Multiple comments in one thread are not independent corroboration of every claim. Other supplied discussion leads were not independently read and are not used here as established facts.

Offer window, current observation and archive

No calendar deadline was stated in the official plan and cart wording we read. The four-year length is the purchased service term, not an offer expiration date. Recheck the official page and your selected cart before relying on the price.

This is a dated observation of the current pages, not a retained historical promotion. If DreamHost withdraws or changes this offer, we will label the old terms as archived on this same URL and preserve their original wording, source and reading time. This is our editorial handling rule; it is not a DreamHost guarantee or a claim that an automatic expiry date exists.
